10:56pm: For Aubergine in The Sims 4, which is very exciting for the Very Veggie Legacy, although I do still need to max the Nectar Making skill, which is proving to take forever, so it still might be a while yet. Which might be a problem for my hard drive because I keep wanting to save a new game every time, which is probably a bit over the top. But you never know when your Sims game might go funny on you...

Right so I've dilly-dallyed on this entry a bit and now it's past 11pm and I've got work tomorrow so I should get a wriggle on. I don't have much to report, archery went well today! It was a short shoot which was good because it was pretty humid today, plus I forgot to bring my sun arms after washing them so I wouldn't want to be outdoors too long!

I got a PB by virtue of the fact it was the first time I was doing that particular shoot, LOL, but the shortness of the shoot also meant that I got to practice my barebow skills for the big event next Sunday - which I have signed up for.

Moving on from archery, I neglected to wash my hair, which I really should have done...I guess I'll have to do it tomorrow, since I'm only doing a half day thanks to working yesterday.

On a final note, guess who's coming back to the Australian Open in a legends capacity next year? Yes, the man himself, Roger Federer!! Now Mum, her friend and I - have for the past few years - gone on an Australian Open Cruise - which sadly is not happening in 2027 for reasons I'm unsure of - and we're going to this one! Somewhat unfortunately, so far I've only heard that'll he'll be there for the Opening Ceremony - which we willl not be there for. He'll also be playing in a Legends Match, but I think that's early on to. But with any luck he'll hang around for a bit and maybe we'll see him on the big screen on something which would be cool.

On a final note, I've been trying to catch up with Ghosts, but the damn CBS website keeps being a bitch about it. I was half way through episode seven when it decided not to work. By that point Dr Gluon was on, so I still haven't seen all of that. Or episode eight for that matter.

That will have to wait until tomorrow though for now I bid you ta-ta!

11:20pm: Although now I can't remember if I mentioned having forgotten to mention it (haha confused yet? ;O), but I have remembered it now. Anywho, for the longest time whenever I go to the petrol station and fill up my car no matter what day it is or time of year or possible public holiday is coming up, the next day it's always cheaper! This is really annoying, but...on Tuesday I succeeded in catching the price before it went up! It's a minor miracle!

Apart from that I don't have much else to report, hmmm...except the monthly invoices have come in for our book orders and according to my calculations...we're like 70 items short! I have no idea how this is possible, unless I accidentally threw out some packing slips, which if so is quite the fuck up on my part. Unfortunately for me, the only alternative is to try and cross off every item on the packing slips we do have and see what's missing and then checking to see if it is in fact missing or has been received. This will take forever to do and I sure as Heck don't wanna have to do that. The only other possibility is that contrary to the date on said invoice, it includes today's delivery. Let's hope I can figure something out that doesn't involve all of that!

And I did plan to get to bed at a proper time since my zzzzs are lacking, but once again I've left it too late, shakes head...Oh well..

Oh and on a final note, my parents' flight arrived in Fiji today and they're gonna be living it up over there for the next...6 days I believe? Lucky them!

11:24pm: It's heating up in Aussieland, since it is now Summer time, which means it's time to use my air-con. I was a bit alarmed yesterday actually when I realised I left it on - in the fan mode fortunately! - the whole day yesterday. It thought I might have killed the cooling system or something because it didn't seem to be working on actual cooling mode, but eventually it did, so no harm, no foul. I hope...

I've had to put back on cooling just now because it's suddenly rather hot in here, or maybe that's just the heat from my laptop, LOL.

The Sims 4 Very Veggie Legacy continues and I've got 3 more couples to break up now...hilariously it occurred to me there's a much easier way to break up said couples then anything I've tried so far. I can't believe I missed it! On the other hand, it probably shouldn't work when your Sim is the one causing the couple to fight in the first place, but hey as Dr Gluon says it's not cheating if it's in the game.

Closing shift went fine, although I might have been a bit lazy and left my co-worker to do most of the stuff. I didn't mean to, still whoops! I also drove my car into work since I had to go to my parents house this morning to get the USB stick for church and half a lettuce. I got a bit of a shock when I went to leave and the pay thingy told me I owed $45! Turns out that my car's number plate isn't registered as a staff member, which is weird because I went to the service desk a few weeks back and gave my details. I guess I'll have to go back there tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow, I'm leaving work early for the free skin cancer check that work offers, although I have to do it in my own time, which means I should have only taken a half hour lunch today, but what are you gonna do?

On that note, I better go, once again time is getting away from me and I need to get a good night's sleep and I still need to do my Duolingo and the Wordle before tuning in!

10:50pm: Right, so some years ago (probably, what is time?) I wrote an entry about how for some reason it sounded like someone was outside mowing the lawn in the night. I haven't heard it for ages, but tonight...it was back! Thankfully, I think it's just stopped which is a relief because I have to go to bed soon.

But yeah, this is a big mystery to me! Because I can't think of anything except a lawn mower that would make that sound, but it raises so many questions, like...why is someone lawn mowing at 9pm to 10pm on a Sunday night? I could see doing it as the sun is going down, which is admittedly later in the summer, but I'm talking about 8pm. Also, aren't you supposed to stop making loud noise at 10pm? And what the Hell are you mowing that it's taking you like two hours?

I tried to look out my window to see what's going, but it's too hard to see, so the mystery will continue...

Anywho, I had better luck at archery today! I finally got me a Personal Best! I feel like it's been ages since I got one. Yay me :O) Also the weather was waaaay better today, as predicted yesterday was hot as Hell, like 30 degrees C before 11am hot. Sadly I did not get a PB, however it was one of the quarterly handicap rounds we have, which meant a barbeque after the shoot! Of course you may wonder if I would enjoy a hot lunch on a stinking hot day, the answer to which is duh of course, it's sausages, yum!

As for today, it was the family Christmas get-together sans Grandpa, it's a bit weird having it so early in December, but I think my aunts and uncles are going away during the actual Christmas time. We were also missing my little bro, however I did speak to him today which was good because I haven't seen or heard from him for quite some time. He seems to be going well though, he has a new job, which pays well, so that's good news.

But yeah, the get together went really well, I picked up Dad from home because Mum and her siblings had gone to see Grandpa who's in hospital awaiting a hip operation. I was in charge of putting the sausage rolls on, which I did and they were most yummy. It's always fun to hang out with the family though.

OK, it's getting late so I better wrap this up, before I go though...

1. If you had to participate in one Olympic event, what would it be and why? It depends, would I have any actual skills? If so I'd love to be a figure skater, that would be so cool been able to do all the spins and jumps... If I have to do without the abilities I actually have, well...maybe the hundred metres, because it's the shortest distance.

2. What is the one song you always sing along to? Haha, well while watching the figure skating last night there was a dance couple who skated to the song (And I Would Walk)500 Miles and I was totally singing along to that. I'm pretty sure if that song came on the radio I'd sing along LOL.

3. Do you wear a seatbelt in the car? Who the Hell doesn't in this day and age? Not only is it the law, they're for your safety!

4. Car, SUV or truck and why? Car, because SUVs and trucks are way too big, I feel like I'd be a real danger on the road if I was trying to drive one of the latter two. Also I have a really cool green car!

5. Are you a good/bad driver? Explain. I'd say I'm a pretty good driver, I don't speed, I follow the road rules etc.

11:04pm: Well, actually it's been figure skating time since August (for the juniors at least), but right now a big competition the Grand Prix Final is on and as it's in Japan it's on at a decent hour for me so I can actually watch a lot of it! Although there's one more event to go in this session - the ice dance, which I will not be able to watch because I gotta work tomorrow. It's been very exciting so far, although many of my faves have struggled. Hoping they can bounce back in the free programs later on.

Righto, not much to report - although I bought a second hand Fitbit Inspire 2 in the hope that it will connect to my new phone - my current Fitbit is an ancient Charge 2 and it no longer connects to my phone. I can get it to connect to my old phone, but then I have to remember to load it onto said old phone and I never do. So far I haven't had much luck getting the Inspire to connect, hope it works!

As for work, renewing orders for the magazines continues, although I did have a bit of a fuck-up with renewing one and I think I'm going to have to make it a new order. My colleague is back tomorrow though and we have a meeting in the afternoon so I can learn to do new orders so here's hoping it all works!

Oh and I solved my space problem on my computer, it was the screenshots folder, I had...and I kid you not... over 15,000 items. Daaamn. I'll have to check them, a lot are probably shots I didn't mean to take and can be deleted anyway. However it took so long to move them to my USB stick that I didn't get a chance to play any Sims 4 at all, boooo, but I guess tomorrow is another day!

Speaking of which, it's fast approaching, I need to get my zzzs so I shall be off!

11:43pm: So I'm trying to do my Duolingo before I go to bed, but even though I'm at about 1960 days now I struggle with Japanese a lot...I'm not sure Duo's really helping me here, but I hate to let that little green owl bad :OP. I seem to be able to do slightly better with Russian at least.

Anyway, I managed to do my Japanese lesson, it only took like 20 minutes, so go me.

In other news, I've been trying to Peak solo, which is apparently possible, but damned if I can figure it out. I'm actually wondering if I should see about refunding it (which I think you can do if you haven't played too many hours), I really should be saving my pennies after all, also I should cut down on my games, there's only so many you can play after all! I didn't even get a chance to do any Simming today, for shame.

On the work front the big project is on with the magazines, there's been some changes so we have to re-assigning some titles and a few we've cut down on and some we're not getting anymore. This is all very important because once we create the orders they can't be changed so if I send something to the wrong branch it's gonna be stuck there. I haven't actually finished yet, but that will happen tomorrow.

Speaking of which tomorrow is coming my way very quickly so I better wrap this up right here.
